Obverse: Head of young Herakles right, wearing a lion’s skin headdress.

Reverse: Zeus Aëtophoros (eagle-bearer) seated left on a throne, holding an eagle in his right hand and a sceptre in his left. The inscription ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ (ALEXANDROY, meaning “of Alexander”) is vertically to the right of Zeus.
